ROBERT RIDLEY-SHACKLETON
Oxfordshires very own performance specialist Robert Ridley- Shackleton was part of the Folter Music collective and the dynamic pop-noise trio Wire Rooms. His own gigs have leaned from frightening intensity to electro-pop bliss at the flick of a switch. His tools are broken keyboards, tape manipulation and primal drum-machines. Robert Ridley-Shackleton’s pseudonyms have included Foetus 502 under which he released x2 quadruple CDRs, a cassete called ‘Greatest Shits’, a cdr he infamously disowned: ‘Cuts Volume One’ and the dld only ‘Endless’. He also completed the visual poem ‘Miracle Of Birth’ which can be seen here featuring his illustrations.
