Programming engineer Nima Heidari, guitar player Matt Cornfield and keyboard player Nick Wardle were Process Records 1st recording group releasing the 1st Process release, Sea Of Clouds in 1997. A mixture of liquid electronics, Harold Budd-esque keys and scorching guitar refrains, Mare Nubium cut a unique path through 90’s electronica by not only being intricate and complex but also possessing spellbinding melodic beauty. Andrew Wetherall once described track ‘Transient Form’ as ‘F***ing Blinding’. Presented digitally at Eyeless for the 1st time is Mare Nubiums only recorded full-length featuring two cuts from their 1st ep and 7 other excursions into their cutting-edge and somewhat timeless music.
